Very nice 1958 Red BMW 300 Convertible. Number 502612 with clear Wyoming Title. I drove this car most of the summer of 2007 and then stored it for when I could get to it to finish the restoration. For a number of reasons that is not going to happen so I am selling the car as is. Please note, I did not do any of the work that has been done on the car to date but the work seems to be very high quality. The car was running just fine when I parked it last. There is an oil or grease leak that looks like it is coming from the chain case and I notice that the choke cable has broken on the level (not carb) end. The top is in excellant condition. What needs to be finished is the interior (you can see the seat that came with it). Notice the headlight covers - I own some 29 Isettas and I have never seen a set of lights like this before. If you are looking at this listing I am sure that you realize that restored (properly) Isetta 300's will sell for as much as the mid 20's. The convertibles sell for several thousand more. Finish the inside of this car, fix the oil (grease) leak, clean things up a bit and you will have a very valuable car. Good Luck
