Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a beautiful 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. LOW MILES!!! LOW RESERVE!!! This truck is black with black interior. It is a v6 so it gets good gas mileage, especially for an SUV. My wife and I are selling this truck to get something a bit bigger. One thing I will miss is the gas mileage. It has low miles for an '02, with just under 112,000 miles (keep in mind that I still use this vehicle daily so the mileage will increase somewhat). I want to be as honest as possible about this vehicle so I'll list everything I can think about it, both good and bad. Options include: in-dash 6disc cd player, power windows, power locks, power driver seat, rear air/heat, third row seats, steering-wheel controls, 4x4, roof rack, towing package, external keypad, added 1/8 inch aux. audio input The paint is still shiny and the interior is in amazing shape. There are a few door dings and small scratches as one would expect with a used vehicle. I took pictures of the more noticable scratches just so you can see them. There is a place on the front drivers side bumper where the previous owner had touched up some scratches. Its only noticable up close but I included pictures of that as well. I'm not sure if the pictures show it but there is a place on the front passenger door where the pin striping came off. I went to a body shop and they said they could order a roll of pin-striping for only $30. Also the rear air heats and cools fine but a common problem with Explorers and Expeditions is the blending door malfunctioning so it doesn't blow properly. I've never fixed it because we have never needed it but it's been quoted for anywhere between $50 - $300. But unless you constantly have people in the third row, it's not necessary because there are vents for the second row that work with the front vents. I said all that not to keep you from bidding but I just wanted to be completely open. The reserve is low and has been priced accordingly. It's a great truck to the best of my knowledge everything mechanically is great. It's been maintained properly. It will make someone a great main or extra vehicle. Please notice that it is also for sale locally. I reserve the right to end this auciton if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
