Vehicle Detail
ericharton Store I'm selling a truly great 2006 Hummer H3. There may be others for sale, but they won't beat the style, condition, and price of this one. This truck drives like a dream with All Wheel Drive, an incredible turning radius, premium Monsoon sound upgraded with new Kenwood door speakers, satellite radio, beautiful two-tone interior, roof rack, grille with off-road lights, and much more. Other H3 owners always ask me about mine. It's great parking next to an inferior H3, Toyota FJ (only 2-doors with bad blindspots), or Jeep (rough & noisy). 5-cylinder, 3.5 liter. Gas mileage comparable to most similarly sized trucks/SUVs. I've been getting 16-19 mpg due to throttle body spacer ($125) and performance exhaust ($475). Those will remain on vehicle. Nice throaty sound without being annoying.Automatic transmission with cruise control, power steering, power locks, etc. All Wheel Drive plus 4x4 hi/lo (just push the button). It has 5 virtually brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. I purchased them from Discount Tire and will add the receipt/date/miles to this listing as soon as I can. They are sized 285/75/R16. Ask around. They are the best: least amount of road noise, very aggressive look, and handle great. These are larger than stock so they add a couple inches in height. I had a professional install a leveling kit to the front which adds to its mean stance. With the leveling kit, you could mount 33" tires on this vehicle! It has the Adventure Package so its suspension is top-notch. I've never been seriously off-road with it, but it's built to romp if that is your thing. Tow package came factory installed. I've never hooked up anything other than a cargo carrier. The variety of wiring adapters are still in the box. Heady-duty grille guard ensures you'll win in an accident. Protects your radiator, lights, and frame, as well. 4 off-road lights add a nice touch. There are 2 toggle switches beneath the A/C controls that allow you to turn on/off the outside 2 lights or the inside 2 lights. That way you can adjust where they are pointed and choose a pair or all four. Really nice for bad weather or curvy roads at night.Monsoon sound is amazing, but I still replaced the 4 door speakers with nicer Kenwoods. The stereo, with built-in 6 disc changer, is awesome. Bass will go as loud as you want without deteriorating but everything sounds balanced and clear. Enjoy the remainder of my satellite radio subscription. I believe it has about 8-9 months left. A ton of stations and virtually no commercials. I'm sure you'll want to renew. Just call them when it runs out. Find a coupon online and it should be about $75/year.As you can see from one picture, I've added some sound-deadening material. I've covered all 4 doors, beneath your feet for the driver and passenger, and the swinging back door. It was already pretty quiet but I had some leftover and now its even quieter. Interior is really nice. People hop in and always comment on it. Its two-tone cloth (tan and black). Appropriate wear, but no tears or stains that jump out at you. Headliner is flawless, seats are comfortable with lumbar support, etc. The only place that has seen some noticeable wear is the cargo compartment, but that is what it is for. I hope someone uses this truck for its potential. You could take this vehicle to the opera and then go camping for the weekend.Tinted windows, factory key and remote, running boards, etc. Kelley Blue Book values this vehicle at $16,600 (private party) and $14,350 (trade-in). Go ahead, check it out at KBB.com. I selected "Good Condition" and it has the following: 90,000 miles, 5-cyl, 3.5 liter, Automatic, 4WD, Adventure Pkg, Off-Road Suspension, Traction Control, ABS (4-wheel), Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Stereo, CD (Multi Disc), Monsoon Premium Sound, OnStar, Dual Air Bags, Running Boards, Grille Guard, Roof Rack, Towing Pkg, Alloy Wheels, Wide TiresThis vehicle has been very well-maintained. Regular fluid changes (even differential fluids), frequent tire rotations, new wipers, etc. I have not had any trouble whatsoever with this truck. You will not need an alignment, brake pads/rotors, A/C work, radiator, or any of that nonsense. But more importantly, mechanics will tell you that this inline motor and solid transmission will hold up much better than "comparable" vehicles that are more car than truck. I hate to even add this, but I'm not going to play games with people who can't afford this. I will never waste your time, so please do not waste mine. I was curious about CarMax and they gave me a written offer of $12,400 after about 15 minutes of "inspecting". I'd like for a discerning individual, not a dealership, to win with this one. I'm asking $16,000 or best offer. Vehicle is for sale locally so $500 non-refundable deposit due via PayPal within 24 hours. I reserve the right to end auction early and/or cancel auction because vehicle is also for sale locally. With all of that being said, write me with questions and call for appointments (ericharton@gmail.com, 214-808-2128)
