Vehicle Detail
I use this car to commute to work every day. I drive a round trip of 50 miles just for work from Queens to NJ. I think it's about time I let go of this car. The following items I have replaced on this car only in the past couple of months, Heat blower motor Water pump Gas valve Spark plugs Spark wires Cleaned the fuel system at Jiffy Lube As of June 30th, 2011 I have replaced the front and back brakes. In the past 2 years, I have replaced the radiator I have replaced the battery I have replaced the tank that holds the coolant I have replaced the windshield wipers. I routinely placed fuel injection liquid when I would fill up the tank. The negatives, Passenger door lock is missing. Someone tried to break into my car and they broke the key lock, the handle is there, there is just no key hole and you can not open it from the outside. The gas tank door does not lock, BUT it does not flap around or anything whether when driving or parked so it stays shut but it does not lock. Driver side headlight is slightly cracked but functions well. Front body of driver side is slightly dented and scratched. The car has a problem when driving as well. For some reason and this rarely happens, when I come to a full stop at a red light or stop sign the engine dies. I would have to put the car back in park again and re ignite it, the car would start working perfectly again. This rarely happens. The AC does not work. There is probably a leak in the system somewhere because I added freon July 17th but by July 20th the AC was not working anymore. On Jul-22-11 at 15:27:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Don't go to an auction and get robbed. This car will drive! Let me start out by saying that I can easily keep this car for another two or three years if I wanted to. I just want to see how much money I can get for it and then make a decision whether to sell or not. If you bid 1,050 it will be yours and I will go ahead and buy a Nissan Altima 3.5, which is my "dream" car. I use this car to commute to work every day. I drive a round trip of 50 miles just for work from Queens to NJ. The following items I have replaced on this car only in the past couple of months, Heat blower motor Water pump Gas valve Spark plugs Spark wires Cleaned the fuel system at Jiffy Lube I have replaced the back struts with brand new ones that I bought from autozone and had a mechanic replace them. I replaced a belt. Not sure which belt it was but it cost me $65 and it is right next to the engine. As of June 30th, 2011 I have replaced the front and back brakes. In the past 2 years, I have replaced the radiator I have replaced the battery I have replaced the tank that holds the coolant. I have replaced the windshield wipers. The gas tank door does not lock, BUT it does not flap around or anything whether when driving or parked so it stays shut but it does not lock. Driver side headlight is slightly cracked but functions well. I have scotch tape wrapped around the passenger side mirror. It isn't too bad looking and you can see the mirror perfect. Front body of driver side is slightly dented and scratched. The car has a problem when driving as well. For some reason and this rarely happens, when I come to a full stop at a red light or stop sign the engine dies, the light stays on, radio stays on, everything else stays on but the engine would die. I would have to put the car back in park again and re ignite it, the car would start working perfectly again. This rarely happens. The AC does not work. There is probably a leak in the system somewhere because I added freon July 17th but by July 20th the AC was not working anymore. There are a few thin scratches here and there. For a 1999, the body is okay.
