WOW!! Thats the word that comes up the most when you open the hood on this baby. I bought this truck at a dealer only auction just for the engine and trans. Super nice. Runs perfect. No issues. VERY POWERFUL!! NO LEAKS, NO SMOKE, NO KNOCKS,,, PERFECT! I was going to find a charger, coronet, cuda, dart, or some other mopar to drop it into. Then after getting it home and looking it over more closely, decided that its much too nice a truck to tear apart. Someone spent alot of time and money on this truck. Fresh big block 440 with lots of goodies. New holley carb, edelbrock intake, mopar dress up kit. New ceramic coated headers with true dual flowmasters and pipes. etc.etc. Transmission shifts are quick and firm. New radiator. New hoses and belts. Like new brakes. Like new tires. After market gauges to keep track of that amazing engine. It starts instantly, and the sound from the pipes is like music to my ears. Very impressive exhaust note. It didnt make any sense to me. Why would someone put this much engine and extras in a plain old 3/4 ton truck? True, its a really solid, rust free, super clean old truck, but,,,.There must have been alot of sentimental value or something. Perhaps we will never know. What I do know is this is one very amazing old dodge. I also believe that the 63000 on the odometer is original. I believe its the original paint job. There are a few scratches and nicks here and there, and the driver side of the seat is a little worn some, but, the truck IS almost 33 years old. You can easily get 4000 dollars building an engine like this, without any of the other stuff that is here. The reserve is less, and you dont have to break this one in. Bid with absolute confidence.
