This is a beautiful example of the famous Chrysler Fifth Avenue ......The body is in very good condition, and has never been wrecked. The Leather seats are excellent, as are the door panels and the dash pad. The headliner is sagging, and is in need of replacement, along with the same material which was used on the door posts. The plush carpet looks great, and is almost stain free....this interior was obviously not abused. The exterior of the car looks very good... the factory new looking grill and front facia are in gorgeous condition. The factory wire caps are almost perfect with almost no dings from tire changing. The car is sitting on a very nice set of 95% tread Michelin Tires, which would cost about half as much as my reserve. This car is NOT perfect, but with very little TLC, it could be a show winner, it's just that good. NEEDS....a new headliner, new vinyl on Crown, and a lean burn adjustment. The Trans shifts smoothly, and the rear end seems solid. Brakes stop fine, but I haven't checked the pads. I can't see anything wrong with the car, except for a few minor TLC items. My reserve is VERY low for a car of this caliber, so have fun and win it! Payment for this vehicle must be made within seven days from end of auction, but pickup/shipment is flexible. Thanks, Old Jim.On Jul-30-11 at 04:55:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I'll try to answer as many of your questions as possible here........The air works, but does not get cold......The car needs a general cleanup, inside and out.......TLC means Tender Loving Care.....which means repairing/cleaning/etc. The car has a NEW set of plug wires and a NEW starter. The antifreeze in the radiator is clean and looks new. The car is hard to start and needs the Lean Burn system adjusted. After it warms up, it seems ok. Car has been sitting up for about 5 years, but started occassionally..........Although it drives out ok, as with any older car, I would advise trailering if you are going any distance............This is about all that I know about this vehicle......I'm only the ebay guy.
