This is a 1963 Austin Healey Sprite. It is in good condition and runs well. This car sat for five years before I bought it. I have done a lot to it since I got it and planned to replace the interior but my business is very slow and I need the money more than I need the car. Sixty three was the first year to have front disc brakes and this car would normally have the 1098cc engine but a 1275 cc engine out of a 67 was installed somwhere along the way. I have replaced the rear brake system and rebuilt the clutch and brake master cylinder also the front wheel bearings are new. Under the hood it has a new radiator, thermostat and battery. I have upgraded the generator to an alternator and replaced the points with an electronic ignition, I also have a new heater intake tube that hasn't been installed yet. The exhaust system is new as well as the tires. The interior needs work, the seats need to be recovered and the carpet needs to be replaced but there are new floor mats. All of the lights and the guages work but the alternator needs to be hooked up. There is an old AM/FM radio in the dash but it doesn't work and I have yet to find a speaker in the car. The paint is not original and I have no idea how old it is but it shines up nice. There are a few dings here and there and quite a few chips in the paint but over all it looks very nice and gets a lot of attention. It has a vinyl top that was bought new years ago and was never fitted, I cleaned it up and it looks good but it has a small hole on the passenger side it is also torn at the right rear corner, I think it could be stitched up. This car is really fun to drive and quicker than you would think, it also turns a lot of heads. In the pictures you will notice the polished aluminum bullets where the bumper mounts are, I also have the stock front bumper but I like the car better without it. This is an old car so it has its share of leaks and mechanical noises but if you appreciate British cars thats just part of the charm. I believe I am only the fourth owner of this car.
