1968, Dodge Pick up, Custom 100. Born in Detroit, raised in New Mexico. This is the rockabilly pick up and the cowboy cadilliac of the Southwest. This truck is super solid, straight and a hard worker. It is used mostly for dump runs and moving furniture. The interior seats have been redone with a cool cowboy pattern and Route 66 upholstery. It has a CB radio, bottle opener, special kill switch for theft protection and other cool quirky gadgets. It runs good, brakes are good, tires fair, all lights and gadges work (except the gas gadge). Does not have a radio. This truck does not have power steering and you don't have to go to the gym because it's a workout to steer. When driving straight down the road it's a little floaty but manageable. There is rust on the top of the cab on the drivers side, around the front windshield and surface rust in the bed of the truck (pics attached). The front hood has to be manually opened and has pins that hold it down. The back hatch is hard to open and close. If you are interested in this truck, keep in mind that its 43 years old.
