1940 Ford Truck. Top chopped 6" in front and about 5" in the back to give it that laid back look of a salt flat racer. Flathead Ford V8. Ran well when removed from donor truck. One water pump does leak. 3 speed manual trans. Front axle from late 40's ford truck. Rear axle from early 80's ford 1/2 ton truck 3.55 gears. Steel wheels with bias ply white wall tires. 5x5.5 lug pattern. 2x3 custom built frame with competion engineering rear ladders. coil over adjustable rear shocks. 1" tubular front radius arms and rear panhard bar with 3/4" joints. This is an unfinished project, you will need to finish. The truck will need brake master cylinder and lines. Will need pedals installed. Clutch linkage is hooked up to tranny. Has driveline built. No glass or gauges in truck at time of listing. Door tops are welded back on and floor is welded in. Comes with the bench seat in the pics. We do have the headlight buckets and grill shell with latch mechanism, is cut down, needs to be finished. Please ask any questions you have, I know there is probably alot I didn't mention that you may want to know about, so please ask. Hopefully the pictures I have can help you see what has been done. This is a great start for someone who wants to finish a rat rod, far enough along to be finished pretty easily. Yet still has lots of potential for your personalization.
