Up for auction is my luxorious 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL500 convertible. The car is in great shape, and I am reluctant to let it go! The SL500 is the high-performance sports car of it's time. It rides as strong as ever with a history of attentive care thoughout the 82K miles on it. This car sold new for close to $90,000.00! The well-maintained, 5.0 liter all aluminum alloy V-8, dual overhead cam, 32-valve engine produces 315 HP @ 5600 RPM and 347 FPT @ 3900 RPM. I've also upgraded it with 17" chrome Benz AMG rims and Continental Sport Contact Tires (245/45 R 17). A tan oyster interior ties in nicely with the MB classic smoke silver metallic exterior, and it looks great no matter the season. This SL500 model is a convertible during the Summer and can switch to a hardtop when the weather turns the other way. The A/C is ice cold for those extra warm days.
