For auction is my 1968 Chevelle Malibu. I have owned it for 17 years. It was a summer driver before I discovered that it had been in an accident and that the damage was covered up with a very "creative" bondo job. I planned on doing a full restoration and this is the reason it is disassembled. I have decided not to complete the restoration and am motivated to sell. Though in pieces, I have most of the parts. Some of the highlights: - Brand new professionally built Terry Rosebush Motorsports 12 bolt posi (3.90 U.S. Gear ring and pinion), no brakes, with new Hotchkis control arms. - 2 NOS GM fenders (excellent condition, small ding in driver side). - 2 NOS front inner fenders that are powder-coated black. - Nice, straight SS hood (a few drill holes where it looks like someone tried to mount a mock hood scoop). - 68 bucket seats (need full restoration). - Original floorboards, roof, trunk, firewall are all excellent. This was a Georgia car before I owned it and I believe that is the reason. There is a very small area of floorboard rot under the driver's side rear seat. Trunk is very nice but I forgot my keys when taking photos and couldn't open the trunk (I will post some later). Any sheetmetal stripped was done with aircraft stripper, no sandblasting. - 70/72 Front disc brake conversion (new remanufactured calipers, new discs, new backing plates). - Rebuilt front suspension. New Eibach springs all around. - 2 center consoles. One GM, one reproduction. Known items missing: - No engine or transmission. - No instrument cluser. - Missing some dash knobs/electrical switches. - No radiator or shroud. - No aluminum headlight bezels. - Needs a new front windshield. This would make a great project car or parts car. NOS fenders, Rosebush 12 bolt, Hotchkis rear suspension package alone cost me ~ $3,000. I'm starting this auction extremely low at $500. I would like everything picked up within a week, certainly no more than 2 weeks after the auction closes and I require a $100 PayPal deposit within 48 hrs. of auction close so I know you are serious.
