Vehicle Detail
1972 VEGA V-8 STATION WAGON HOT ROD RAT ROD V-8 Well, I'm sure no expert on hot rods, but I ended up with this V-8 Vega from my 70 year old hot rodder neighbor, who has hurt his back. This car has basically sat idle for about the last year or so. It was a daily driver until he got hurt . Although it has sat idle,I started it right up, and drove it home last week. It's not perfect, but it is a real neat car. It has a fresh 4 bolt main-350 v-8 engine, and a built 350 automatic (with special clutches, a shift kit, and mild stall converter). This entire drive-train is very stout and solid. The engine has a big cam, big manifold, roller rockers, etc. This conversion includes hooker Super comp. Headers, a v-8 Monza radiator, b&m ratchet shifter, a trans cooler, electric cooling fan, ETC. The front has all new V-8 monza springs, and urathane bushings etc. It also has all new shocks, callipers, pads, etc. The rear end is from a v-8 monza and a 308 posi-trac. This car comes with the rear window panels to make it a "panel delivery" if you like. This car has several small unfinished details, but has lots of time, engineering, and money all ready put into it. This car is 40 years old and is being sold as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best then be disappointed in anyway. My opening bid is 2250.00 with no reserve. Now all that having been said I honestly can't imagine finding a neater project / driver car for the money. This car is very powerful and would be a poor choice for a young driver. (It's a serious piece). I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I first found it. I do not for-see any disappointments, and I believe the buyer will be very pleased with this car. The paint looks better in the pictures than it actually is. it's ok but not an expensive paint job. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well. A $250.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are an out of the states buyer, I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment. Thank you for considering my auction, and Good luck bidding!
