Vehicle Detail
Hello everyone, Henrik here from GM Truck Center in beautiful down town Burbank, CA, home of world famous 4x4's. Look for us in the upcoming TV show Top Gear America, on the History channel. Now about the truck..... Today you are looking at pictures of a very low mile 1976 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 4 wheel drive with a long bed. This truck was ordered with the Scottsdale package which included factory A/C, dual gas tanks, and chrome side moldings. This is a great candidate for a restoration since it is mostly untouched, or it can be used for whatever you may have in store for it. Don't forget we can help you restore of modify this truck in any configuration you like. The truck has 85K original miles on it, and it runs and drives good. This truck has its original small block 400 V8 motor in it, it runs excellent. Everything under the hood is untouched including all original A/C equipment, it is totally unmodified. We just installed a new alternator on the truck and all the lights and gauges work. We also just installed a complete new muffler and tailpipe system on it, and it sound nice and smooth. The transmission transfer case combo are the original turbo 350/NP203, they are both in good working condition. The front axle is a Dana 44 with factory disc brakes, factory 3:73 gears and factory automatic locking hubs, its in good original condition. The rear axle is a GM corp. 12 bolt, also with factory 3:73 gears and a factory locking differential, it is also in good condition. The suspension is all stock and in good original condition. The truck has its original steel wheels and original hub caps, it will need tires. The exterior of the truck is in fair shape, the floors have some surface rust and a few holes from where the carpeting got wet and stayed that way, there is rust in the rockers as well, there is also a rust spot on the passenger side rear portion of the bed, other than that there is no rust. The bed floor and wheel wells are in nice shape. The interior of the truck is what you see, the seat is in good shape, the dash pad will need replacing, the rest is all 35 year old GM equipment. The original glove box sticker is still in its original location listing all the options and equipment the truck came with. The truck still has its original AM radio in it. The truck has factory dual gas tanks. The truck runs and drives but should be considered a PROJECT vehicle. ONCE AGAIN, THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A RUNNING PROJECT TRUCK. If you would like this truck restored or modified to your exact specs, please call us for more info. I think that should cover everything, if you notice something which I have missed, don't hesitate to call or write at any time. I require contact from the winning bidder within 24 hours of the auction end time and full payment within 3 working days. I would appreciate all bidders with 0 or negative feedback to call or email me first before bidding. keep in mind quick and affordable shipping is available to anywhere in the U.S. I hold a clear CA title in hand.
