1969 Ford Galaxie 500 Big Block Auto Resto-Mod Vehicle Description – L@@K! ‘69 GALAXIE 500 BIG BLOCK RESTO-MOD! Super Clean Completely Restored 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 Sport Roof. Brand New Dodge Viper Snakeskin Pearl Green Paint - Buried Black Super Bee Style Tail & Hood Stripe with Functional '69 Mach I Ram-Air Hood Scoop! Brand New Interior from Headliner to Carpet! Prior to restoration, this car started out as a 100% Rust-free Southern Nevada vehicle and is showing 32,440 on the odometer, I believe that to be 132,440. This car WAS factory equipped with a 390ciY-Block Engine, C-6 Transmission and 2.75 Ford 9” Differential…it was a factory A/C car but the A/C is no longer installed. It NOW has a Nicely Built Fresh 460ci Engine with RV Camshaft, Weiand Aluminum High-rise Intake Manifold and Holley Street Avenger 670cfm Carburetor. Rebuilt C-6 Transmission with Stage-I B&M Shift Kit and 2.75 Ford 9” Differential with a Mini-spool installed. All of which work very well together. The 460 has enough torque that the 2.75 gears allow this car to come out of the hole effortlessly and still provide great cruise/highway rpm and mileage advantages. It has a four row radiator that will let you sit in 100 degree heat and traffic all afternoon and not even think about overheating. It has a true dual Flowmaster Series 40 Exhaust System which makes that Big Block sound like an Absolute MONSTER! This car also has a Pioneer Amp & Kicker Box with Two 12” Sub-Woofers to add your choice of system to. Brand New Color Matched 20's and tires with less than “50” miles on them. If you’ve ever done a restoration like this, you will see and know that there is an Awful Lot of Time and a Ton of Money Invested here!! This car is in exceptionally nice shape, to say the least! Prior to the restore it appeared to have always been adult owned and meticulously cared for. I bought it from an experienced Ford “line mechanic” who owned it for several years. He did the engine swap, transmission and differential work just before I bought it. It starts instantly, warms up quickly and runs super until shut off! The spool makes a small amount of tire chatter on tight turns but not enough to really worry about with a car of this size. It has Amsoil Synthetic Oil and Fluids throughout! This car needs nothing, to be used as a daily driver and is ready to drive, cruise or show anywhere! The engine, transmission and differential are very solid and smooth when in operation and work as they were designed to. This car does not have any odd sounds or leaks nor does it smoke or consume oil. It draws a crowd and gets compliments anytime it is taken out of my garage! The car comes with a clear Nevada Title (in my name) and a Bill of Sale to accompany it as well. Vehicle Condition – As mentioned above this car is cosmetically very clean and 100% rust-free! I have taken extensive measures (recent servicing, preventative maintenance and repair, complete restoration and overall inspection, etc.) to ensure the buyer of this vehicle will have to do nothing but drive it and love it for years to come with only routine and preventative maintenance. However, this car is not brand new and does show “SOME” (less than average) signs of age and use in some areas.
