1978 PONTIAC TRANS AM 6.6 400 I am Relisting due to a non paying winning bidder. Z-CODE VIN DENOTES A 400 PONTIAC ENGINE CARCORRECT CODE 24 MARTINIQUE BLUE EXTERIORFACTORY AIR CONDITIONING (STILL WORKS) Needs charging. PONTIAC RALLYE WHEELSSHAKER HOODTILT STEERING COLUMNDELUXE INTERIORMODERN CD PLAYER FLOWMASTER EXHAUST Condition of vehicle The exterior has been painted once in the original martinique blue. The paint still has a shine but is older. a few rust bubbles around back window is all that I see, Someone painted by the rust areas and color is not an exact match. Rest of paint looks good for age but does have scratches and imperfections. The car has had new floor pans put in by previous owner. The trunk pan is original and looks fine. The interior of the vehicle has been refurbished with new correct front and rear seat covers, new door panels, new carpets, and new headliner, it has a dash coverlay on it, steering wheel is original,It has an aftermarket stereo JVC single cd. This was a California Manufactured Car. I do not know when it came to the East Coast. Vin Number is provided in the video below. Cowl tag also provides the information pertaining to this car. It is also in the video. Feel free to crunch the numbers pertaining to it. The engine is a 400 and I believe its the original that came in it. The factory air conditioning still works but needs charged. This car runs and drives exceptionally well. It is very dependable and sounds great with that flowmaster true dual exhaust system. It runs down the road fine and stops very well. Transmission shifts as it should. All the gauges work except for the clock. All the lights work,as well as turn signals etc.The dome light works as well. Wheels look nice also. The glass in this vehicle is good quality also.This car needs some TLC and a nice paint job.Drive it while you finish refurbing it. This car can be driven and enjoyed as is or would require a paint job and some motor detailing to become a nice car. The choice is yours.
