I’m selling my 1989 BMW 325i 2-door with 211,409 miles. It is red with tan interior. The engine runs great, transmission shifts smoothly, clutch feels good. I used it as my daily driver and it has been very dependable for the three years I’ve had it. Recent work includes - Cylinder head rebuild – includes replacing camshaft, all rocker arms, check valves, valve seals, mill head flat, timing belt, tune up New RadiatorAlternator and Power Steering belts Oil pan gasket Left rear CV shaft Transmission fluid serviced Rear muffler (OEM) Rear brakes Front and rear shocks - front with Bilstien HD, rear with Napa Select Left outer Tie Rod end I have tried my best to keep up with the maintenance and always used high quality parts. I am an automotive technician by trade so all of the work performed since I owned it was done by me personally. That said, there are a few things that could use attention. What it needs: A/C does not work Front control arm bushings and alignmentNo Radio (all wires still intact)Sometimes takes a few seconds to start Cosmetic Issues: Paint is faded Rust on several spots along the lower sections of the car (not all the way through) Right fog light is crackedRear bumper strip crackedDriver’s seat has a small tear Shift boot is tornCracks in dashThe passenger side bump strip is not installed in the photos but I do have it and will be sold with the car. If purchased at the buy it now price I will also include an extra set of bottlecap rims (the same style that is currently on the car) which are in exceptional condition. I bought the rims so that I could have a dedicated set of summer and winter tires. The rims do have tires on them now, two of which have quite a bit of tread left. The other two could be replaced soon. This is one of three BMWs I have owned, and literally everyone in my family drives a BMW, so we are very passionate about them. I am someone who takes pride in my cars and I take very good care of them. I have tried my best to be as honest as possible and describe any issues the car may have to the best of my ability. However, due to the age of the car it is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. $500 will be due within 24 hours of the auction’s end and the balance due within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however I may be willing to deliver it within Wisconsin for a small fee. Feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding. Also, there was some concern over the History Report. I see that there are reports for Emission inspections, Loans/Lien records, and a Repossession record. I had no knowledge of these events until I saw the history report, it did not happen while I owned the car. There are no notes on the title, and it is free and clear with no liens against it. I also have documentation that it passed emission testing just before I bought it. Emission testing is not required in my area of the state so it has not been tested since I owned it. That said I have no reason to believe it would fail. I hope that clears everything up, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
