For Sale is THE ACTUAL TRANSFORMERS MOVIE CAR "BARRICADE"!!!!!!! This is a 2005 Saleen Mustang. This is one of the most recognizable and cult classic Mustangs ever built!!! This is the ACTUAL screen used "HERO" V8 Saleen Extreme S281 "Barricade" car, as seen in the movie "Transformers". This is the car used in the main scene when the President lands at the airport and the Transformer robot gets into the passenger seat to use the computer. If you stop frame the scenes you will see a "Oklahoma" state license tag on the car and the "driver" of the car is wearing a O.H.P.(Oklahoma Highway Patrol) uniform. This is because one of the stunt coordinators, Beatty, is a retired Oklahoma Trooper who taught the at the Burns Flat driving range. This car was used during some of the chase scenes. It still has the computer mount stand and the Line-Loc system used to do burn outs. The car has custom made push bars and a skid plate on the front lower frame with 4 pads welded to the frame rails so the car could be lifted on a crane platform. There was only 3 cars made for the Movie. Two V8 cars with one of custom LED light bars and one V6 close up car with no overheads. I have all three VIN numbers which I will give to a serious buyer. SOME INTERESTING MOVIE FACTS: This car was suppose to be the "HERO" car until GM, General Motors, came in at the last second and gave $10.2 million dollars to make their cars the lead characters. The car was delivered with the Saleen roots supercharger but had to be removed since the blower whine came over the actors microphones. Included with the car is the car cover from Paramount Studios with the cars original name, "BRAWL", written on the front. The included Movie Poster has most of the main actors signatures including Michael Bay, Megan Fox, Bernie Mac (deceased) and Shia Labeouf. (poster goes with car only!) FOR US CAR GUYS: This is the opportunity to own a prototype car. These cars were used to design and build the SALEEN Extreme mustang. It has a custom exhaust and mutiple holes in the trunk for different rear spoilers. What a great piece of car history. This is a great main character movie car that you can drive! This is the HERO, close up car. This is an excellent long term collectible. This car was built as an actual Saleen EXTREME Mustang with a S281 V8 and a 5 speed transmission, Extreme S281 body kit, black leather seats, Saleen interior and unique 20 inch matte black Saleen Wheels. Since this was the HERO car, it has the V8 interior premium package with the upgraded silver trim dash and leather wrapped steering wheel which is seen in the close up shots. Movie cars are getting harder to come by let alone ones that are professionally built, show quality and the main star of the movie. As seen in the movies with a Decepticon police logo, Pearl white doors, emergency lights(YES THEY WORK) and Transformers/Police badging with the famous "To Punish and Enslave" slogan. Due to its use in the film, the movie studio disconnected the airbags. This car has been adult owned and garage kept. This car comes with a car cover.
