Vehicle Detail

This timeless automobile, the BMW 850Ci (1995) has a powerful and uniquely smooth 322 horsepower, V12 engine (automatic with manual gear shift option and automatic downshift trigger as well as sport mode option). The car is black with beige interior (genuine leather). I am only the second person to own the car. I purchased it directly from a car dealer in 2005 who was selling it after the car's original owner--who appears to have maintained it well--passed away. The exterior and interior are in very good condition (please see attached images). The car has 100,452 miles, which for a 1995 model is just one example of how both owners used it infrequently. I have treated this car gently and with care and attention. This has been a non-smoking car. I have maintained it almost exclusively through BMW of Manhattan and it has never been in an accident. I recently had a new battery installed. I have clear title of the car. Other features include dual front air bags (driver and passenger), A/C with dual climate control, dual driver and passenger seat heaters with two heating options, one-touch power windows and sunroof, automatic stability/traction control (if any of the four wheels begins to slip, the 850 automatically takes over operation of the accelerator as it resets the RPMs until traction is restored). Another great aspect of this car is the stereo/sound system, which is truly exquisite and includes a fully integrated, six-disc CD changer (by Kenwood for BMW). I am selling the car because BMW has said the engine needs to be replaced and that cost is expensive. I have had issues with the coolant temperature gauge. The coolant has apparently been mixing with the oil, which has affected the engine. The car is running and appears to drive fine but the temperature gauge is all the way in the red. I can get you the service record that I have from BMW. However, I am selling the car strictly “as is” which is reflected in the price. Aesthetically, the car looks great, as you can see from the photos, which were taken at the end of June 2011. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via eBay.
