This auction is for a 1959 or 1960 Austin Healey Bugeyed Sprite for restoration, The car was last Registered in 1973 as far as I can tell. We were able to figure out approximately what year it is by the vin on the title but not exactly. This car has a title that shows it originally titled in Pennsylvania 12-14-65 but also notes that it came from a different state or country (F Code). I can not find the VIN Plate, it may be under grime on the frame rail or it may be missing altogether. The Condition of the car is as follows: 1) The Engine; Seems to be mostly there missing the Carburetor Air Filters and possibly other small parts, the Spark Plugs were removed at some point in the past2) Interior- The Seats will need to be completely redone, the dash has some what seem to be after market gauges and wash covered in Burlap?3) Body-This car has been repainted at least twice and should be stripped down to bare metal, there are 2 small round patches on the boot (trunk) lid where some cutouts once were. There are areas of rust and some bondo but much more solid than a lot of cars of this type that I have seen but count on needing new floors, battery tray area, etc.4) The brakes and other mechanical systems will need complete rebuilding but everything seems to be there.5) Hard Top; This part is made of Fiberglass and does not seem to fit right but I may just be putting it on incorrectly and there is no back window or side windows.6) There is an extra front windshield and what looks like a set of top Bows as well as some extra bits and pieces.This item is for pickup or you arrange pickup only (I can not ship) please ask any questions and if possible see the car in person so there are no misunderstandings, I am happy to answer any questions and supply other photos of thing you need to make a choice in a offer, This item is sold "AS-IS" and does not run or drive.
