1997 2-DOOR PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT SILVER DESCRIPTION You are looking on a 1997 2 door GT Grand Prix with a 3800 series II engine. All black leather interior. Best looking year model ever made in my opinion. These 2 doors are getting harder to find. This is a fine sports car. The way it should be, tough, durable, and built to last. The 3800 series II engine is fabulous, one of the finest engines ever made. Cruise at any speed; get around 27 to 30 mpg, and when you let off the accelerator, don’t expect a sudden drop in speed as if you just opened a parachute - not this car, instead you keep sailing on. Recently upgraded parts; a new heavy duty Front Sway Bar, front brake calipers, all of the brake pads-front and back, four tires, new rotors, ball joints, a new resonator for the exhaust and a front end alignment. All of these weren’t necessary; it was just to maintain performance. The car has power everything windows, doors, seats, mirrors, sunroof, traction control, day time running lights, ABS and a tire pressure monitoring system. The car runs great and is great inside and out other than a few minor blemishes that go with a used car. Only a few things need to be fixed such as the wiper arm on the driver’s side. Also, there is minor rust on the driver’s side rocker panel from the ground effects holding water. You can never go wrong putting money into these cars because of the look.
