Here is my neighbor's 1977 Ford F-250 custom 4x4 crewcab truck that he special ordered new from the local dealer in 77. I am selling this truck for him and all questions will go through me, I can ask or find out anything you need to know about this truck. He is the orginal owner. Clear title in hand. This truck has 85,481 orginal miles on it and has taken the owner on many trips to lake Erie and out west back in the day. It has always been grage kept other than when on trips. It has the 400M V8 engine C6 automatic transmission Dana 44 front axle open nuckle, Dana 60 rear axle, all parts are orginal. I belive this is a late 77 model because this truck is not considered a highboy which is a good thing better power steering, more aftermarket parts like lifts, parts, ect are avaible. Truck has the 6 to 7 foot bed not sure, it is not a 8 foot bed. It was origianaly black in color and has been painted 3 times since it was new, not recently ( the owner is a very picky if it started to rust or what ever he had it fixed). Truck has always been taken care of mainance was always done. This truck has always been in great running condtion, if something needed fixed or replace it was done even when this truck was not use much. This truck has never been wrecked all body pannels are orginal. There has been rust repaired in the past over the fender wells and close to back bumper on bed sides. And at bottom of a few of the doors and cab corners. (shown in picture). Don't let this statment fool you because It apperars that the rust was minior nothing major like most of these trucks. I am just trying to be as correct about this truck as possible so I will metion all aspects of truck. Inside of bed there is no rust at all and no dents that I seen (shown in picture). It look as if rust on doors was at bottom inside lip. I belive two of the doors has no signs of any repair at all. One of the cab cornners has some bubbles on it. It looks as if it is all cosmetic not structural at all. Frame is great shape has surface rust on it. Under the body is the same has surface rust but not ate out or thru, looks like it could use a good wire brushing or a rust stripper and some paint. Door post all around look good front and rear nice and solid. I drove this truck on july 3 2011 and it runs great shifts smooth, breaks wook good, steers good, no smoke, steers easy, great power, no noises. Nothing wrong with it but a couple of the dash guages dont work. It has been sitting for awhile and there is no signs for any leaks. I did have to pump the gas pedal quite a bit before it started but it statrs up easy now, like I said it sets for periods of times without being started. The interrior is good shape the drivers door pannel has been replaced not sure why, he did say he has the old one I have not seen it. He has put some orange looking carpet in it. He put the console and bucket seats in it years ago, and does not have the orginal bench seat. This truck has a lot of acessories on it you may wish to keep or take them off but I will try to list all I can remember. This stuff is all old from 70s or 80s CB, scanner, Horns, light bar he made never was this truck use for company or industrial use, running boards, bud shield, dimond plate tool box and rail caps. custom front bumper, electric winch he had installed when truck was new he said it still works good only used a few times, sun visor, mud flaps. New dual exhaust was put on about 2 years ago. I belive this truck is in really good condition for the year.
