California MGB GT with only 75,000miles Here is your opportunity to own a very original, fun to drive MG. This car was brought out here from Sun City California and we have all the papers that show it was shipped out here about 7 years ago. After that the car was put into storage until my friend acquired the car only two months ago. After the wash, you can see that it just got uncovered from many years of dust. This is a very straight almost completely rust free beautiful structurally and mechanically SOUND Piece of automotive history. My friend has decided to offer up this amazing car for sale. I say amazing because this is by far the most solid unrestored, original example I and everybody else for that matter has seen. Although there are a few error correct mods, like carb, headers and it also has been lowered. All of which makes the car perform like you wouldn’t believe, it’s a blast to drive. The car also was equipped with the upgraded Minator wheels. The only excuses that I could find on the car was a touched up area on the passengers door, a small dent in the roof and inside, the drivers bolster has a small tear in it (All of which you can see in the almost 50 pictures I have posted). The car runs and drives with no problems, so if you are looking for a MGB GT to enjoy driving right away and maybe spend some time doing a very little repair on a couple of flaws this would be one to bid on. Production continued through 1980, though export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launching the sporty "hatchback" style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, The B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new configuration was a 2+2 design with a right-angled rear bench seat and far more luggage space than in the roadster. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable. I have not meant to be misleading. Most MG fans are in the know, and I am impressed by the knowledge out there and the help I have gotten from the good people of eBay.
