1979 BMW R-Series

Bike started life as an RT and three years ago I acquired it after long term storage. Bike was in good running condition except for the paint and seat. I restored using all original R 100S bodywork. The following was either rebuilt or replaced: filters, fluids, forks, front and real calipers, master cylinders, brake hoses, mufflers, carbs, bodywork, complete repaint. Bodywork is perfect except for small ding in top of tank( see picture, "no one admits dropping anything on it"), battery, tires are new Dunlap GT 501. Engine excellent condition, never into except to adjust valves. Have original Krauser bags that show some wear but are very serviceable. Bike still has original RT handlebars because I am a little taller and like a more upright position. New cafe style seat. Ridden less than 2000 miles since restoration completed. Tool kit and air pump in tacked and included. Always stored in garage. The Bad: Original clock does not work, horns sometimes works, small weep at push rod tubes(one or two drops, not bad enough for me to repair) and the above mentioned ding in tank.
