Vehicle Detail
You're Bidding on a 2002 Ford F-350 Crew Cab,7.3 liter diesel, Lariat 4X4, Dually . This truck has a white exterior and a tan leather interior. It has high miles by average standards (273,000), but not for a 7.3 diesel, this engine runs strong and is in great condition with no knocking or abnormal noises. I am the second owner of this truck. I purchased it from a family member who was the original owner, but I simply have no need for a truck this big anymore. This truck is used, and it is not in perfect condition, but it is a strong truck that runs great and is mechanically sound. It was maintained regularly and has thousands of dollars in new parts. There are a few dents, dings, and paint chips that are characteristic of a truck of this age and milage that you may not be able to see in the pictures, but I will try to list below. It has power seats, windows, mirrors, keyless entry, single disc CD player, cold A/C and Hot Heat-and all other options that come with the lariat package. I intalled a TS chip with the following settings: stock, high idle, +50hp,+75,hp,+140hp. I usually run it on +50 or 75hp and you can definately tell when you kick it down. All 8 injectors were replaced with rebuilt injectors about 5,000 miles ago. I just put all new front brakes and sway bar linkages, along with a new thermostat and sending unit within the last month, so everything is in solid condition and ready to go. Please keep in mind that this truck has never been wrecked. Here are some recent upgrades I've put on this truck in the last 5,000 miles: Recent Upgrades: -New high pressure oil pump and seals -Flushed Transmission Fluid -New Glow plugs -K&N Air Filter -TS Computer Chip from thoroughbred diesel in Lexington, KY-positions listed above (change on the fly) -New Thermostat -New Sending Unit -2 New Duralast Red Top Batteries -All 8 injectors replaced with rebuilt injectors by Ford mechanic -All new Front Brakes -4 New Aftermarket shocks -6 New Yokohama All terrain tires- 85-90% tread remaining -Manual Warn 4-wheel Drive lockouts -4 New Wheel simulators -New Fuel FIlter -Engine Coolant Flushed Problems With Truck: Exterior: -Small Dent In middle of front bumper -large crack along entire length of windshield -A few small paint chips on driver side doors, small ding on drivers door (only noticeable in good light) -A few small paint chips on passenger side doors, about 3 small dings that are barely noticeable on passenger side of cab -Both rear dually fenders are cracked and need to be replaced. -Largest paint chip on entire body of truck is on driver side of bed just above and in front of dually fender. It is about 3 inches long, 1 inch in height -Small dent in middle of tailgate accompanied by quite a few scratches and paint chips Interior: -3 tears in drivers seat (should be visible in pics), tear in drivers right armrest -1 or 2 tears in passenger seat along with cracks/tear in passenger armrest -missing passenger side lower door compartment (just a plastic piece that attaches to door) -Missing 1 A/C vent cover on dash -Carpet stain in rear floorboard ( covers with floor mats) -Small stain/scuff in middle of rear bench seat (there are no tears in rear seat) -Engine Temeprature gauge is not working properly: This was why the thermostat and sending unit were changed. When both of these items were changed out the gauge still didnt read correctly, so I had a very good local diesel mechanic check to make sure that the engine wasnt actually running outside of the normal temperature parameters, and it wasn't. He checked the new thermostat and sending unit and also the actual wiring to the gauge, and all of the readings were fine-so the problem is the actual gauge itself-this causes the check gauge light to come on. Engine/Drivetrain: -Engine light has been on since computer chip was installed ( Local mechanic ran diagnostics and said the engine light would always be on due to code caused by chip)-the engine runs fine and as far as I can tell, nothing is wrong with it at all. When injectors were changed, the engine was checked for compression and it was nearly 100% on both sides -O/D off light is on Please bid with confidence. I've listed everything that is both good and bad about this truck, so bid with this in mind. I feel that I've priced the truck accordingly, given its flaws. This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. This truck is for sale only-no trades, so please do not ask. Serious bidders only please.
