1969 AMC AMX 390 Go Pak Automatic This is a rare AMX with GO PAK and factory Desert Air Here's your chance to own a peace of history.. As you can see there are only a few AMX's listed world wide on all of ebay ..These cars were so ahead of their time the front brakes on this car are Copied today by brembo as their dual piston units. The steering geometry is set up and feel more modern then any 70s or 80s car I have driven ..Including my 1967 Shelby And I'm a FORD Guy. The steering is tight and easy you feel like you are driving a more modern car This car handles and brakes great and is really fun to drive and its pretty fast too ...I'm sure one day soon a light will go off and These AMX's will sky rocket in Value... This car spent it life in Sunny California til 6 months ago so there are no rust issues so this would make for a good long term investment Interior: Has new Carpet ,The seats have no tears and show minimum wear and age ,Nice head liner ,nice dash board ,there is one crack on the steering wheel plastic from age but it is still nice for being original Has 140 MPH speedo and Has in dash 8000 rpm Tachometer and indash clock option there is an after market high end sterio (Blaupunkt) with amp in the trunk I left it un plugged as the stock radio is still with the car and is included with the sale . I would rate the interior an 8 ,But I'm used to $100,000 dollar + show cars where everything is new, my wife says I'm too fussie Exterior : The car has been Painted 5 years ago it is a White with black Mask option ,There are no dents or scratches and it only shows minor wear as the car was driven from time to time on week ends and local car shows etc. This is a nice looking Rare car that shows well, but you will not beat some guy in a car show that has no women ,that shows up and pulls his car off a trailer and starts cleaning it with a tooth brush ,but it will give a respectible showing anywhere.. Under body: this is the cleanest underbody I have seen in 20 years period it is rock solid I power washed it and found no rust or weak spots any where Engine :390 HP Motor with new Elderbrock Carb Runs perfect no ticks or rattles, does not smoke or leak. Has fresh oil change and coolant change as well as a tune up /car came to me with Hooker headers and hi performance mufflers and still has them. they sound great to me Wheels: Ultra Rare -15-inch' Kelsey Hayse' MagStars and Hi performance tires still have atleast 50 % of life I would say...
