This is the cleanest Mercedes 300d I have ever seen. I have had many classic cars, especially Classic Mercedes, and rarely do you see one of these 123 Chassis Cars in such good shape. Because they are nearly indestructable, most owners drove them into the ground without maintaining them. This example is just beautiful throughout. It runs and drives just as beautiful too. It has been shown many times locally at european car shows. The exterior is in great shape. This is a rare color combination and the paint is still in great shape. All the rubber and chrome are excellent as well. The wheels have been refinished and the tires have plenty of tread. The inside is well taken care of as well. The interior is original and still in great shape. The leather seats and panels are near perfect, as is the dash and wood which never survives like this. You can definately tell that the car has been garaged. The engine bay is original and looks extremely nice. It has always been detailed for use in local car shows. Mechanically it has always been maintained by Mercedes mechanics. It is well taken care of, and has just been serviced by one of the local Mercedes Specialists.
