1974 VW Super Beetle Convertible 4 Speed Non-fuel injected 4 Cylinder 123,000 miles Here is one of the finest all original CALIFORNIA cars you will find in this vintage. As you can see from the pictures, it is in exceptional condition. I bought this car three years ago, (for $10,500.00), for my wife and had it shipped here from Napa Valley from the original owner. The car was well maintained before I received it and the only things I had to replace were the carb and the noisy speedo cable. We have put over 4000 miles on it and it runs flawlessly. It is a ball to drive. Well, my 10 year build of our Model A hot rod is complete so we just don't drive this car any more so we have decided to let her go for less than what we paid. This car needs nothing and is ready to drive anywere. The body is a nine, the motor has plenty of power and does not smoke, (my expert VW mechanic says the motor had been freshened at some point), and the top and interior are in great shape. The top has a 1/2" tear that does not leak and the interior has a 1" tear on the rear seat that is well hidden.
