Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 71 chevy because I don't have the time to enjoy it. It needs to go to someone who can. And I don't have the space, too many projects. I did not do the restoration on this truck, I purchased it this way. It was a "frame off" restore, done about 5 years ago. I have had it about 1 1/2 years and only put about 100 miles on it. It probably doesn't have 500 miles on the rebuild. Restored 1971 4x4 chevy truck with many new parts. Very clean with great running 454 big block. Dual exhaust. 350 Turbo transmission. 205 transfer case. Warn lockouts. 36 inch Super Swamper tires. Power steering. Spray-in bedliner. New interior. New seat, carpet, weather stripping, windshield seal, gas tank. Good body. This truck is not full of bondo. Good cab corners, rocker panels etc. New rear bumper. Plus more!! The only issues are a broken antenna, I have a new one already, just have not put it on. It will go with the truck. And as you will see in the pics, there is only a step on the driver side. It has custom made step brackets and steps. The passenger side just has not been put on yet. They are bolt on and very sturdy. Those will also go with the truck. And some of the chrome needs a little polishing. Other than that the truck is ready to go!! I just put a new power steering gearbox on it June 2011. All of these photos were taken without a wash or vacuum. In otherwords, the truck was NOT polished up for photos just to sell. I dont have the time. This is a great running truck. Everything works. Always starts, runs great, shifts smooth. Mechanically sound all around. If you want a great classic truck but don't have the time to do a rebuild yourself, this is the truck for you. A weekend here and there and you will have a awesome truck! If I had more time, and fewer projects, I would just keep it for myself. But unfortunately, I have one too many projects. Everywhere I take this truck, it gets compliments. Its a real "eye catcher"! If you have any questions, let me know. The NADA values for this truck range from $7,282.00 for low retail, $12,195.00 for average, all the way up to $30,350.00 for high retail. This truck would fall into the average category. Truck is for sale locally also, auction will be ended immediately if sold.
