Vehicle Detail
Hello everyone, you are looking at pictures of a very original, rust free 1983 4 wheel drive Dodge Ramcharger. This is a very original truck that is 100% RUST FREE. The odometer reads 23070 we are assuming that is 123,070. The original 318 V8 motor runs good and starts right up, there is a little smoke for the first 2 seconds which clears right up. The automatic transmission shifts good through all the gears. The transfer case shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive easily and all other 4 wheeel drive related equipment works as it should. The suspension is all stock and in great shape, the truck has a nice ride. The tires are 31 inch all terrain type tires with 80% or more tread on them, they are only a few months old. The exterior of the truck is in fair shape, there are a few scratches, dings, and small dents due to normal wear and tear, there is also a small chipped area on the bottom corner of the rear hatch area. (pictured). This is a CA desert truck so there are a few spots where the paint has peeled due to heat and has surface discoloration. The interior of the truck is in very nice shape, the seats are original and in great shape, the front portion of the carpet is new and matches the rear perfectly. The headliner, door panels, seat belts and etc are in great shape, the rear factory ceiling vent opens and closes easily. There is a new SONY detachable face CD player in it with a IPOD connection. All the lights and gauges work fine. The front bumper is not a factory Dodge bumper. The drivers side quarter panel molding in front of the rear wheel is not a original Dodge piece. The switch or the blower motor for the heat and A/C is does not work. The passenger side door window does not go up and down, its most likely a window motor. There is a oil leak of some sort, we have not looked into it. The emergency brake cables are disconnected. I TOOK THIS TRUCK IN TRADE TOWARDS CUSTOM WORK ON A 1972 K5 BLAZER. I have a clear CA title in hand and the truck has current CA registration through August of 2011. All CA buyers will receive a current smog certificate. THIS IS A 28 YEAR OLD TRUCK, IT IS NO WHERE NEAR PERFECT, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON IT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING PERFECT OR EVEN CLOSE TO IT. THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A PROJECT TRUCK. ONCE AGAIN, THIS SHOULD BE CONSISERED A PROJECT TRUCK. Our previous feedback speaks for itself so bid with condidance. I think that should just about cover everything, don't hesitate to email or call me if you have any questions. I would appreciate all bidders with 0 or negative feedback to call me first. I require full payment within 3 working days, please have your funds ready before bidding.
