1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 Very clean! Interior is immaculate. 245k miles Aftermarket CD/tape player which works well. See pictures. Manual throttle. See pictures. Push-button H4 wheel drive 31x10.5x15 BF Goodrich A/T KO tires on original FJ62 chrome wheels Don’t let the miles fool you! This is a very well taken care of FJ62. I bought it a little over a year ago from one of the VP’s at my company. He owned it since 1995 and used it as a commuter over the Bozeman Pass for the last 8 or so years. He always garaged it, had no kids, rarely did anyone else ride in this cruiser except for him. The cruiser has always been taken care of mechanically and the engine is very strong. See compression test results below. The transmission and transfer case shift smoothly. When I purchased it, I had all of the fluids changed and gave it a complete tune-up. Please see all that has been added in the past year: New spark plugs New NGK spark plug wires New distributor cap and rotor New fuel filter New air filter New windshield wipers New radiator (previous developed small pinhole this past winter) New battery New shocks Man-a-Fre long leaf Add-a-Leaf springs which add a slight lift and provide for a comfortable ride Sometime in the 90’s, the passenger door suffered a couple of small dents when someone backed into it in a parking lot. The dents were small, but I had them repaired and had the door and fender repainted on the passenger side. I had the FJ62 rhinolined along the bottom and around the wheel wells. I also blacked out the area around the headlights and the grill. I also had the mirrors repainted black. 4 wheel drive works excellent as it tends to in all Land Cruisers. This FJ62 has no problem starting and it runs very smooth. It started for me without a problem this past winter in -17 degree weather. The compression test is as follows for all 6 cylinders: #1 – 135psi #2 – 135psi #3 – 133psi #4 – 134psi #5 - 134psi #6 – 135psi This Cruiser is a 1989 and does have the type of rock chips and light scratches that one might expect from a 22 year old vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, the end of the bug shield has been broken on driver side. The windshield has a couple of cracks in it. Small rip on bolster of driver's seat. There appears to be a small leak from the rear main seal. The leak is certainly nothing to worry about, but I wanted to let the buyer know it exists. These are all of the problems that I can recall. It is really a clean machine. When I found out that this FJ62 was going to be sold, I jumped at the opportunity to buy it. I bought it for my wife to drive (I already own another Land Cruiser), but she decided after a year that she wanted something smaller and more modern, so I bought her a newer 4runner. I thought about keeping this as an extra vehicle, but I just do not have the time to have an extra Land Cruiser to play with at this point. It is a very nice vehicle. Be confident in bidding. The reason for this is that after a certain number of miles on a vehicle in Montana, the title no longer recognizes the miles. This is understandable with 245k.
