Up for auction is my 1978 Ford F150 Ranger. This is the 8ft longbed. It has been a very dependable truck. Approx 65K miles on the odometer. Big giant snarling Ford 302 V8 engine (originally from a '74 Mustang ID# D4DE-6015-BA). This would be a great candidate for a restoration or just a great work truck. The cab is very straight but has some rust along the top of the door frame (see pics). The bed has rust at the wheel wells and a few spots in the bed, nothing structural. The engine has a mild cam and Edelbrock headers, it sounds amazing. The motor is very strong and runs great. The transmission shifts smoothly. There are two issues with the truck, please note: The radiator will need to be replaced. There is a pinhole in the front of the radiator and it has a steady leak. Also, a neighborhood kid threw a rock through the rear passenger window yesterday and broke that. Other than that the truck is fine. Very low reserve price.
