Jaguar D-Type built by Proteus. Registered as 1968 making it eleigible for Vintage Racing. Built as a light weight, hill climb car. The Tub is aluminum. Top and nose are fiber. Donor drive line, 1968 MGC 2400 CC with 3 DOC 42 Webber MGC, Transimission and rear end. Rear wheel drum brakes, front disc brakes. New tires. Car built in the mid 80's, campaigned in England and then in Germany where the last owner set it up as a street legal and track ready. Came to Costa Rica in 2006 and was used very little in the last 5 years. Car has been garaged, high and dry and covered the entire time. Is in very good and clean condition. Two seater. Ready for a new owner to enjoy.
