Vehicle Detail
1976 Mustang II Mach 1 with a 2.8 liter V-6 and a 4 speed manual transmission, power steering. The body is in very good shape with just a little bit of rust. There is rust on the hatchback door and some other small spots, none of which go through the metal completely to the best of my knowledge. The front windshield has a small crack in it. The interior plastic trim is included although it is showing a lot of wear and scratches and has been removed to redo the interior. Also includes the center console as is pictured. Spare tire is included in addition to the jack. The front valence has been replaced with a new, heavy duty fiberglass piece from Mustang II Specialty Shop. The mileage on the odometer is 9,700 so I suspect the mileage of the car is at least 109,700 miles. The transmission was replaced in 2010 with a used four speed transmission. The engine runs well, though it takes a few tries to start which I suspect has to do with the manual fuel pump. Once it gets going, it runs great. The gas tank was rebuilt by Moyer Fuel Tank Renu. The radiator was re-built with a new core by a local company. The passenger side inner fender well has been replaced with a part from a Mustang II. The A/C has been removed but is included with this auction. A new heater core has been installed in a non-A/C heater unit that was gotten from an other car. The heater/vent controls are for a non-A/C car. The vent controls work fine although the control cables need to be replaced to fully operate the doors in the non-A/C heater unit. The heater fan works just fine, too. There is a radio in the car that works and the door speakers have been replaced. The seat-belts are in great shape and there are some extra seat belt parts including webbing included in this sale. The roof liner has been removed because I was hoping to replace the roof liner. The carpet has also been removed because I was hoping to replace the carpet. The dash pad has cracks as can be seen in the pictures. Seats and seat covers are in very good shape. The auxiliary gas tank has been removed but is included in the auction. There is a new battery, new spark plugs, new spark plug cables, and new coil. I also added coolant overflow container. The passenger side inner tie rod has also been replaced. Tires are in great shape. Two of the wheel centers are included though not pictured. All of the spare parts that I have accumulated are included in this auction. Also included is a couple of repair manuals. If you have any questions or want any specific pictures, please contact me. Please ask questions so I can make sure we have covered everything you want to know about this great car. The reason I am selling this car is I can only have one Stang in the garage according to my wife and I just picked up another one. Deposit of $200 is required upon completion of the auction and within 24 hours. Balance is due within 3 days; PayPal is preferred.
