For Sale: 1991 Geo Metro XFI VIN: 2C1MS2464M6737945 Color: Blue 2 Door Hatchback 5 Speed, 3 Cylinder The XFi model metro was made from 91-94. The main way to identify it is it has MS in the VIN instead of MR. All normal Metros and LSI models had MR as the 4th and 5th digit. I have been consistently getting over 50 MPG on the highway. I am the 3rd owner and have had the car for about 3 years. It has 89,000+ original miles and is in excellent condition mechanically, including the rocker arms. The body is also in great condition especially when you consider it is 20 years old. There are a couple spots of rust about the size of a pea. The photos will attest to this. It has been kept in storage in the winter and garaged the rest of the year, driven sparingly. These cars are becoming increasingly scarce. I am told that the ratio of them being sold when new was 1 XFi per approx. every 100 Metros. I ran across only 2 on eBay today and the conditions were poor or in one cases it was not an XFI at all. But as you can see on the report there must be a type-o because it shows that the milage went up over 100,000 in a 10 day period, so I do believe that the milage is acurate. Other errors seem to appear in the milage but this one really stands out.
