Cash or certified bank check no personal checks don't ask! 1971 CT 70 Ruby Red. COMPLETELY restored. New everything I could get. Powder coated frame, front end, chain guard, etc. Wet painted swing arm and new Honda headlight bucket. All new bolts, washers, nuts, etc. yes most have the 8's stamped on them. Over $3,000 invested. Engine IS a rebuilt automatic by Honda mechanic. New factory exhaust. I can't even remember all I did to this. I have all reciepts. This is a BEAUTIFUL bike that shifts a little hard. The shift lever does leak slightly and drips oil, but nothing awful. New wiring harness, battery, bulbs, etc. CHP seat, new brake shoes, bead blasted rims and hubs. Starts easily even after sitting months at a time. Bidding starts at $1,000 and someone is going to get a great bike. Not a museum piece, but as nice as they come. Not 100% correct for you minitrail freaks out there. Bridgestone tires, new tubes. Also have an equally restored 1970 Topaz Orange 4-speed CT 70. Clearing out my garage for new projects. Also have two metropolitan scooters purchased new in 2002 and an all original 1972 XL 250. All have clear Ohio titles in my name. New grips, levers, throttle kit, bars, cables, brakes, seals, bearings, speedo gear, coil, sprocket, rubber battery cover, air box, all rubber pieces, decals, plastic tank was cleaned up and is fine, new gas cap, etc., etc., rebuilt carb in 2011, restored in the last 8 months, no abuse, no dirt, goes 40+ mph flat out on speedo (assuming it's accurate and yes faster than the 4-speed), new tail light and chrome, kick stand also powder coated, after market shocks (old ones too far gone to restore) all parts factory honda or CHP/DR ATV. Everything I could buy for it I did very few 'restored' items on either bike. This engine was rebuilt by Honda mechanic at a cost of $350.00 plus parts. Frame was solid with no holes and only surface scratches. Powder coat finsh by Aesthetic Finshers in Piqua Ohio and it's Candy Ruby Red and a perfect match to factory Ruby Red headlight bucket. Only the swing arm was wet painted and it is not a 'perfect match'.
