I purchased this car a few years ago from an estate sale in southern Colorado which has a very dry climate. Would really like to restore the car but i dont have the funds. This is a good car to do some minor fix up and could probably be used as a daily driver. The things that need repair; probably needs new rear springs, carb had probably someone over tighten the air cleaner wing nut and broke the top bridge on the carb. It still works fine though. Apparently the local mechanic devised a bolt and screw contraption where he drilled through the top side of the carb to provide a hold down. You cant see it with the air filter on but for restoration purposes it should be repaired correctly by acquiring the top of an old carb to replace it. The windshield wiper switch was bad and i replaced it with a new GTO style. It seems to work ok but i had to jump the wires around since the connections are not in the same place. The windshield wiper motor has the face plate off of it. The antennae is broken off. The AM radio doesnt work. The is minor rust in the bottom fenders less than a handprint in size. The brakes have been redone but since its been sitting there is a shudder in the front end when braking hard. The good things; The car looks like it had light use and looks like a car that is only 5 years old. Starts every time. New windshield, brake fluid reservoir, rear shocks, battery, and four Firestone tires. A few parts that go with it are a replacement windshield washer motor, and various new small front end suspension and brake parts. NADA and Kelly Blue Book say a car like this is valued at $4,300 to $4,600. I am asking that as the BUY it now price but the actual reserve is much lower and only enough to recoup what i put into it already. No out of USA bidders, no shipping, no bidders less than 5 history. I wrote 82,300 because i figured by the time it sold it may have that many miles on it from people who are showing up to test drive it.
