Vehicle Detail
1987 Grand Marquis Colony Park Wagon Very Original SurvivorOnly 36,000 Original MilesTrue One Owner Wagon! You are bidding on a true one owner 1987 Mercury Colony Park Wagon GS. It has 36,000 actual miles. The AuctoCheck History Report that ebay provides confirms it as being a one owner. The car has been used sparingly and only driven an average of 500 miles a summer since 2000. Prior to that, the vehicle was used "regularly" by the elderly woman that owned it up until she could no longer dive in 2000. The body is real clean. There is only some very small spots of bubbling at the bottom of the car. No bondo and nothing is rusted through. The paint has is original and in excellent condition! Everything opens and closes as it should. The glass is all original and in excellent shape. The chrome and emblems are all original and in nice shape. The roof rack is in nice shape. The wood side panels are in real nice shape as well. There are a few minor blemishes. The interior is in next to perfect shape! There are no cracks in the dash or rips in the seats. The headliner is nice and tight. The carpet is in great condition as well. It has never been smoked in. The back seat looks as if it has never been sat in. This was a true church driver and grocery getter. All turn signals work, high beams, low beams, dome lights, the windshield wipers work, the radio is original and works excellent, the AC AND Heat work, however the AC needs recharge. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, power adjustable driver side mirror, and rear tailgate all work excellent! The 5.0 8 Cylinder runs excellent! It starts right up! The transmission shifts flawlessly. This vehicle is air tight and does not leak a drop of anything. It tracks down the road nice and straight. The front end is as tight as can be. The brakes are excellent! I would truly not hesitate to drive this wagon from New York City to California and back! Overall, the best way to describe the vehicle with one word is, crisp. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find Wagons like this, especially in this type of condition. This is your opportunity to own a true one owner, low mile, rare Woody Wagon! Please do not bid unless you intend to pay. I help people sell their classic cars and it causes a lot of issues on no reserve auctions when someone decides they do not want to pay. I have to work with ebay to have them remove a $100 listing fee and then start the process over. Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. If you would like to set up a time to come view or test drive, message me. Thank you and happy bidding!
