Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1989 Chevy S-10 Extended Cab project truck, I bought this truck about a year ago as project for me and my boys to play around with. The reason for selling is that I'm active duty Navy and getting deployed later this summer and need to minimize my stuff that I have to store. It has the 4.3 V6 and an automatic transmission, manual windows, A/C and an aftermarket stereo. There is a new muffler and the tires that are on it are in decent shape. We spent much of the last year just addressing small issues and getting it running good, then we used it as our run around truck. It starts everytime, does not leak anywhere. There is new carpet on the floor and we started a conversion over to bucket seats out of a 90s Cavalier. The brackets have been painted and attached to the seats, just need to drill 2 holes per seat and they're in permanently. The body is in decent shape, it's not a show truck and has some dents, there is some Bondo where someone tried to fix some of the dents, they didn't do a good job though. The outer rock panels will need replaced eventually, about $50 a side from LMC. The blower for the HVAC system is not working and I have been told it's a $12 relay, just haven't gotten to it. The previous owner did a lowering job on the truck using the stock parts by cutting the front springs, but we were in the process of replacing all the suspension with DJM parts. We got the rear done, but not the front. All the parts to complete the front end are included, including the grease for the spindles and the tool for the tie rods. There is a set of 90s Iroc Z wheels that go with it, they were painted by the previous owner and need redoing. I also have the original bench seat that came out of it and it will go along with it as well. The vehicle starts, runs, and drives, you can drive it home or I'm also willing to deliver it up to 4 hours away for the price of the fuel to get it there about $100. To my knowledge the truck has never been wrecked and is straight. This would be a great beginner project truck or just something to mess around with. Let me know if you have any questions, I need this gone ASAP. PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BUY.
