1968 mercury monterey 2 door fastback 390 auto original, has been sitting a while, ran good when parked, will need brakes bled, new battery, and better tires. interior is very nice, car is pretty solid and pretty straight, original paint. No zero feedback bidders...On Jun-21-11 at 18:41:26 PDT, seller added the following information: today i pulled the car around from behind my barn and pressure washed it a bit. I found all the original hubcaps in my barn and i found all the keys today. I also found almost every piece that was removed from the car and all the trim pieces i have will be included, also found several extras to throw in with the deal. Look at all the pictures as they are were taken today. If i get time i will get it started in next few days and post updates. thanks for looking On Jun-22-11 at 17:48:27 PDT, seller added the following information: today i put a donor battery in the car, primed the carb and it fired right up on the first try, i only ran it briefly as the fuel in tank is not good but motor sounded good. added pics of the engine and the trunk plus all the parts that go with the car. this car is a great project and these are very hard to find in this shape. More rare than a Ford Galaxie xl 500 fastback and the mercs had nicer interiors. thanks for looking...
