You are bidding on a 1953 Willys M38A1 Korean War era Jeep. I am unsure if it went overseas or not but I am pretty sure it spent some time in the Airforce Reserves after its initial military career because of the color blue in between the coats of DO green. The original forded 4 cylinder engine purrs like a kitty and goes down the road great and will run under water if you put a snorkel kit on! Everything is in working order and is ready for fresh coat of paint or leave it as is. The 4 wheel drive works great and will climb up a small mountain if needed. Special features include a working rear facing PTO and a new heater. Other items included are; the original military canvas top and side curtains, front cold weather grill guard, Roll Bar (not in jeep), Heavy duty military cover, new rear bumper conversion kit for M170, M38A1-firefighting, M38A1-c with directions, new turn signal conversion kit (not installed), and a few other small spare parts. All data plates are original and match engine and body. Tires are new and still have the nubbies on them. Electrical system is original 24 volt with 2 brand new batteries and has the side charging connection if you need to jump start a tank. I have all prior service reciepts from previous owner. The title is clear and transferable. I prefer local pickup but buyer is reponsible for all shipping costs and I will help the shipper however I can. I am in area code 53406.
