Up for sale is my 1965 GMC truck. I have had the truck for the past 18 years. Four years ago I decided to finally restore the truck and I haven't really put more then 500 miles on it in the past three years. The truck has a 230 straight six in it. Up until a couple weeks ago it did have the orig. three speed in it, in it's place is a New Process A833 out of an early 80's chevy truck. The tranny has the same gearing as a 700r4, so fourth gear is overdrive which makes it nice to drive on the highway, and the 23 mpg doesn't hurt either. The truck has been totally restored. 230 straight six (Rebuilt) NP A833 (New bearings and seals) rear (Dana 44) New Bendix brake shoes and spring kits New wheel cylinders New brake hoses, and steel lines New clips and retainers All new Ball Joints New idler arm, and pitman arm All new tie rod ends and sleaves Factory sway bar, new bushings new exhaust Factory Power steering New Power brakes The body is almost mud free other then a small area in the cab corners which have been replaced. (90 percent of the hardware one the truck is stainless steel other then a few grade 8 bolts that were used. Basically everything on the truck was replaced and done right.
