This is a 1962 Cadillac Ambulance built by Superior Coach. This is a Superior Rescuer. This vehicle is used, but is relatively complete including intact lenses, bubble light, siren, and original radio and dash switches. The radio is not installed but will come with. I believe this vehicle to be one of approx. 186 total coaches built by Superior in 1962. Superior built 3 different styles of ambulances, so this is one of maybe 62 Rescuers built that year. From the stickers on the dash, It looks like this vehicle was used in the Pennsylvania area. This car is relatively complete but was sitting outside for quite a few years. The front floors are rotted out. The interior is rough. You can see from the pics, there is rust and body damage to the exterior as well. I tried to show the condition of the car as best as I could. I have not had the car in the air, so I am not sure of the frame condition. This car has a 390 ci engine with automatic transmission. The engine turns over. It need a battery. I rebuilt the carb to see if the engine would fire and it fired by spraying carb spray into it, but it would not idle because no fuel line is hooked up. The trans supposedly does not have reverse, but there is another trans included if the buyer wants it. If the buyer wants them there are other parts such as intake, fan, and fender skirts. The left front wheel is not going with the car, but I am working on a used tire for one of the spare rims. I was able to get all exterior ambulance lights to work, but not the siren to wail. As you can see, interior is rough from sitting. It is complete with the jump seats. I am not the original owner. I acquired this vehicle from a friend, who also acquired from a friend. I am not sure of previous owners beyond that. Title is free and clear. Buyer must arrange shipping. Seller is moving so buyer must have shipping completed within 30 days of sale. Seller cannot store this vehicle. $500 deposit due at auctions end preferably through Paypal. Balance due within 7 days via cashier check from bank (USA bank or Canadian Bank) however if seller is local cash will be accepted. No personal checks or cashiers checks. Obviously since it has been sitting outside for so long, the brakes are non operational. Also, the windshield and all 3 rear pieces of glass are intact. The passenger front window has a crack. The driver's side has a cracked front door window, along with a cracked rear door window. The rear door window has spiderwebbed a bit but did not show well in the photos. I can get pics if needed. All windows that are cracked are FLAT GLASS. they are not expensive to replace and can be cut to fit without much problem. As of now they all seem to function just fine. None of these issues should have any effect on sellin this car. Other spare parts include valve covers, air cleaner and wiper arms. Please don't hesitate to ask for more photos or information. It also came with the shift linkage but I cannot be entirely sure that it isn't bent.......
