1974 VW Bus, purchased as a package deal with a 1970 VW Bug. Got the bus running, but have no real use for it. Wife says I have too many toys already. Drives out nice down the highway. Tires are decent. Previous owner's son said owner rebuilt engine. Unknown actual miles on engine rebuild. Vehicle sat for a couple years before I purchased it. Engine is not original for this year vehicle. Judging by the serial number of the engine currently in this bus, it was originally a 1500cc single port, is now a dual port with Solex Pict 34 carb so someone has done some work on it. All lights and wipers work. Will need some electrical work, owner had wired around ignition switch and has start button. Interior is rough but usable. Have rear middle seat, will need to be recovered. Front seats are comfortable and functional but not original. Driver's door window regulator is broken, have a new replacement but have not taken the time to figure out how to replace it. This vehicle is for sale locally.
