Up for sale is my 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. This is a very attractive and powerful bike and certainly not for the faint at heart. It has 16,000 miles on the clock. Don’t let the high mileage deter you - It has been meticulously maintained and is in excellent overall condition. The paint is still shiny all around and the bike is mechanically sound. I have put 8,000 miles on this bike. The oil and filter were both changed every 2500 miles. The tires still have good tread, just showing center wear but the outer edges are just fine, easily good for another season of riding. The miles are mainly from cruising and in-town riding. If you are looking for a GSX-R for a good deal, you will NOT be disappointed with this one. It looks like it has a fraction of the miles and runs like a top. The only [minor] flaws are a rub on the left mirror and a missing bar end on the left side (pretty common for them to fall out). However, the paint is all in great shape with much less than average wear and tear. The FI light is on, but the bike runs fine. I have not at all had any issues during my ownership.
