1966 Mustang 289 V8 Convertible, a true American classic. This was my grandfather’s baby that was passed down in 2005. From April of 1998 to February of 1999, this mustang went through a pretty extensive restoration including a complete rebuild of engine & transmission, a new top, air conditioning, power brakes and body work. Grandfather put in about $24,000 into the restoration. Since the rebuild, the car only has about 5,000 miles on it. The car is a really nice daily driver. I’ve taken it on many cruises around South Beach and it gets more looks and pictures taken than the Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. The engine runs great. No rust. Paint is shiny. Everything is solid including floorboards, shock towers, trunk, doors etc. The interior is in really good shape. Black on Black. To my knowledge, the only thing that doesn’t work is the passenger side rear window. I think the window must have fallen off the track. Some of the upgrades -Rebuilt Engine and Transmission with only about 5,000 miles on it. -Power top that works great -New top -AC -Brand new tires. They were purchased and put on the car last week. -Power Brakes -Power Steering -Gas Tank has been reinforced for safety reasons.
