This 1970 vw convertible runs -drives and looks so good it is truely one ride i hate to get rid of.But i have so many other projects going on at this time that something had to give and unfortantly this is it.My bug is only a two owner car in which my neighbors sister bought it new back in 1970 then it was passed on to the brother who took meticously care of this vehicle.It has always been a Northern dry climate California car that has absolutly no rust anywhere--This bug has a 1600 duel port engine that has recently had a valve adjsutment and tune up done by one of the leading vw places in all of California."Bug Performance".So needless to say it runs--shifts thru all the gears flawlessly and brakes just fine.I wouldnt hesitate to us it as a daily driver if this is what you desire.As for the looks part of this vehicle it has an older pearl white paint job that looks fantastic with no major or even minor scratches.And the interior is completly new with new-door panels-new carpet kit and all new vinly on the seats.The convertible top is also brand new in a box and should be installed by the time this auction ends.So if you have been looking for a head turning- drop dead gorgeous bug that will take you anywhere you want to go.Then this is the bug for you....And i know in writing this add that i have probably left out tons of stuff that you enthusiast will want to know so dont hesitate to call me with any questions you may have.----------------Call ---916-410-8282---ask for Jerry---------You will not be dissapointed in any aspect of this v dub and my loss on this one is defianatly your gain--- i just hope the photos will do it any justice because it truely looks as cool as it runs
