Only a handful of 3/4 ton suburbans ever make it out of the GM factory, and the loaded LT models are ever more difficult to find. When it comes to heavy duty SUVs your choices are very limited these days. The Ford Excursion was last built in 2005 and no other manufacture has built a heavy duty model including those from over seas as well. When it comes to towing that large boat to the lake, snowmobiles up to the mountains, or just rugged 4x4-ing this Suburban will do the trick. All 2007+ 2500 or 3/4ton Suburbans come with a larger, more powerful 6.0L motor that will out perform the standard 5.3L found in its 1/2 ton sibling. But it was not until 2008 that the upgraded tap shift transmission was offered. This 2500 Suburban is a 1 owner truck and belonged to a Union Pacific Representative(very rare to see one this clean, most are work trucks). It has been extremely well maintained and is in great mechanical condition and physical condition. The Summit White exterior is amazingly clean and could pass for unit with a fraction of its miles. This truck has seen very little if any off road use, the rockers are very clean with no rock chips and the under carriage looks great. Inside this LT equipped Suburban are Ebony Leather quad bucket seating and a third row bench seat. The seats have almost no wear, and I am pretty sure the second row buckets and third row were seldom used. The steering wheel looks great as does all of the radio and and climate control buttons. The only sign of wear on the interior is the drivers seat edge. It is well equipped and everything works as it should. From the upgraded Bose stereo system to the optional second row buckets seat, you will be impressed with the overall quality and condition of the interior. It does have fully automatic 4 wheel drive and does have a selection that only engages 4wd should you need it. The dual climate control is ideal for the warm natured and cold natured alike. The XM equipped CD Bose sound system performs great. A very expensive upgrade on the exterior of this truck are the 20in tires and wheels that I put on after purchasing this truck. The 285-55-20 Nitto tires mounted to 20x8 Ultra Motorsports Chromed Alloy Rims look great and have a much more aggressive look. I get plenty of compliments. I can easily reinstall the original 16in wheels that came with the truck when I purchased it, the tires are in average condition. Should someone not want the 20in wheels, I will be happy to install the 16in set and credit you back $1,000. I bought this 2500 Suburban several months back while the weather was bad and the 4wheel drive worked great. I have enjoyed driving the suburban for the past few months and have had NO issues.
