The passenger rear quarter was very slightly damaged many many many years ago and was replaced professionally and the repair still looks great. Interior: The dash is perfect with NO cracks or scratches. The guages and instrument panel is amazing as well. The interior is in excellent shape throughout and ready for show. The carpet, seatbelts, and headliner are in excellent shape. All of the seats are in excellent shape. Body: This GTO does in fact retain 95% of all of its original sheet metal. It has all of its factory spot welds in tack and is completely solid. It has been repainted and was kept factory correct. It was done professionally. All of the chrome is in excellent shape. The undercarriage is amazing and is not rusted out. The Ram Air III Engine compartment, interior, paint, and trunk area are near factory clean. Engine & Trans: The transmission is the original and date correct. The 400cui engine is "all original" except the block itself which is a "1969 service replacement" and was dealer stamped with the VIN. This type of block is very common in these as many were blown during the break-in period in 1969. While the rest Ram Air III Engine is the original numbers matching parts including the original Ram Air III heads, exhaust manifolds, intake, distributor, fan, water pump, oil pan, timing cover, and carburetor. The engine is as close to factory numbers matching and date code correct that you can get. Both the motor and transmission run perfectly with no problems. This car is drop dead gorgeous! how can you beat a 69 carousal red judge over black with factory tinted glass. The asking price is very reasonable especially if you consider the low miles. Most bet that the judges are going to take off in price like the Shelby's, Mopar's, and Yenko's have.
