I purchased this 1936 Ford about 4 years ago. The beautiful color combination caught my eye at a large cruise in. It appears to be an older restoration with some modern changes. The mechanical brakes have been replaced with hydraulic ones and it has an electric fuel pump. The 6 volt system has been replaced with a 12 volt one. The 1936 engine has been replaced with a 1953 one. Note, Ford used the same flathead 8 cylinder up until 1953. I replaced the old radiator with a new one that I had custom made. I recently had the grill re-cromed and replaced the alternator. All the doors work correctly. All of the windows go up and down. The door and trunk locks work. Notice the windshield in the above picture. It has a crank that opens to let air in. I added seatbelts. The car starts easily, is reliable and runs really well. I drive the car to work quite often and take it on short trips. If you want a classic car to have some real fun, this one may be for you.
