For sale used daily driver. Runs good and in good shape. I have owned the car for 6 years and have done a few updates/upgrades over the years. less than 5k miles ago: Alternator belt 10k miles ago: Timing belt, timing pullys/cogs/etc, balance shaft belt, water pump, plug wires, plugs, dist cap, rotor, washer pump, and washer tank 15k miles ago: oil/water cooler seals, hood insulation, power steering reservoir,battery, short shift, speakers, and radio 20k miles ago: Zimmerman cross drilled rotors, Brembo pads, front tires, exhaust manifold back, o2 sensor, fuel injectors, and clutch/pressure plate/ through out bearing 25k miles ago: Transaxle rebuild (bearings, seals, new ring and pinion), odometer gear, rear tires, viper car alarm, and windshield washer hose. I am getting rid of the car and all known parts because I talked the wife in letting me get a newer Cayman. I need to get rid of the 944 before that can happen. I also had a house fire not long ago so my spare parts are everywhere. There is somewhere a complete disassembled engine, extra alternator, extra relays (including DME), spare front fenders, along with phone dial rims. I just dont know what is at the house and what isn't. The stuff that is not at the house I cant get to until much later in this summer. So anything that is still at the house is going with the car. I know there are atleast 1 oil filter (its in the back of the car) but need to dig out this weekend to see what else there is. If someone is willing and wanting to come back at a later date, I am willing to just give you the rest of the stuff when I get it back in August time frame. I am not going to advertise what all the spare parts there are going with the car (I will update this weekend) as I just dont know what I have access to. The good: Starts and runs very good, only synthetic oil used since I owned, late model 85, well maintained by current (2nd) owner, cruise control option, unusual Porsche seats, rocker panel body pieces (I have only seen 2 others cars with these, look just under drivers/pass doors in pics), viper car alarm, AC cold and converted to 134a, everything works except items in the bad, fun to drive, complete service manual included, glass top and painted hard top included, owners manual, other random Porsche parts like oil filters and what else I can find around the house. The bad: Needs a paint job/body work (looks good 20 feet away, looks ok at 10), AC switch went out (hold it down and AC works but wont stay down), dash cracked (as normal), drivers seat crack on one side, crack in windshield, power steering line leak, small dent pass fender and pass side bumper shock compressed (bought it that way and worried more on reliability than looks), rear wiper switch went bad, rear defrost has been repaired at one time on glass (the paint on stuff to repair the screen printing), steering wheel worn (you see the cover in pics), one fog lamp wire cut from alt belt breakage last fall, aftermarket power locks need an adjustment to make fully functioning Take a good look at the pictures. Take another look at the score the car got. I am making all attempts to give as much information about the car as possible. As you can see from the list above that I am more into making something run well and then look at cosmetics. This car had received appropriate upgrades where they will count (brakes) while replace usable parts to help make the car like new again. If you get here and the car is not as advertised, you can walk away and I will refund/reject the deposit from PayPal. If you get here and decide you dont like it for any other reason, you will lose the deposit and receive a less than favorable review. If you want more pictures or more details of something specific, ask and you shall receive. Also keep in mind that you do have an ability to get a lot of spare parts if you are willing to make two trips (one now and one in August time frame). You can see I am 100% positive feed back and I intend to keep it that way. Also for those that look but dont watch or interested, drop me a line and tell me why. This is a nice all around car that is a daily driver. It averages 28-30 MPG, fun to drive, and will still turn heads. It is possible I am not giving enough detail about certain things but I wont know unless I get feedback from you. The car is pickup only at my temporary home and then we have to drive a few blocks to my "fire" house to get the spare parts.
